Programs

Academics at Mountain Trail Academy foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving from the early grades up. Students engage in hands-on learning experiences to engage deeply with content, while using technology to enhance learning and prepare for our digital age. Through collaborative learning activities, students develop essential teamwork and communication skills.

Mountain Trail Academy incorporates STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) content across the curriculum, including computer science, robotics, and art. STEAM engages students in hands-on work, projects, and problems; empowers them to solve real-world challenges; and inspires them to reimagine how they see themselves.

Project Lead the Way is part of Mountain Trail Academy’s STEAM programming. It provides transformative projects in the areas of science and technology, robotics and engineering, and mathematics that help students develop in-demand knowledge and skills that they need to thrive in today’s and tomorrow’s world.

Leader in Me is based on principles and practices of personal, interpersonal, and organizational effectiveness. Every child possesses unique strengths and has the ability to be a leader. Through this special program, students become self-reliant in all areas of their lives. A few of the skills we focus on include teaching your child to learn the following:
